THE PULSE CHICAGO Jeff Reid :)

Happy 1-Year Anniversary

The Pulse: Chicago

The 1st year ~ WooHoo!
Last year on this day we were gathering for a beautiful evening with Brennan Manning and Phil Keaggy.

It's gonna be a great summer!!

June 28th ~ The Pulse: Africa (here in Chicago!)
An afternoon with The Watoto Children's Choir from Uganda, and the modern dance company Labco, from Pittsburgh. Plus, involvement from local artists, dancers and musicians.
It'll be a chance to pause the summer, and turn toward Africa and her children.
These kids have literally been rescued from a doomed life as child -soldiers (as chronicled in the documentary, The Invisible Children).
We'll get to welcome them to Chicago, and, shower them with tons of love.
We'll also have other suprizes thoughout the summer.

And... this October, we'll be hosting the 1st annual Pulse Festival.
2 days & 3 nights of performances, worship, prayer, workshops, and masterclasses. Featuring artists both local and national.

Hope you are all well.
We'll have a website up-and-running soon...so, you'll be able to post up-coming things that you're involved in ~ concerts, shows, gallery openings, retreats, or, anything generally groovy, etc...

(by the way, the band Anathallo is doing a show at Subterranean w/ Dosh on Thursday May 29th, at 8:00pm. Should be an amazing show!)

Also, Tim Gregory's Provision Theatre Co. is having a great run of a musical called "Smoke on the Mountain." It's on the "recommended list" from the Chicago Reader. It closes June 8th.

In God's grace,
Hope to see you all soon.

www.gjmi.org From his ministry base in Saint Etienne France, Graham Jones from England ministers in many different countries every year. The goal of GJMI is revival and seeing the presence and power of God released back into the church. The Lord uses Graham particularly in the area of physical healing and Graham has seen thousands of people healed from all manner of sickness through simple faith in GodÂ’s promises and the manifest presence of God. Graham has ministered face to face to thousands of people. Again & again seeing God confirm his Word with signs & wonders such as cripples walking, the blind seeing and multitudes coming to Christ. Graham recently held a healing service in the United Nations in New York City resulting in many giving their lives to Jesus and people healed in the UN building. Graham is involved in church planting and oversees churches in Europe, India and North America. GJMI works through relationships with local churches, seeking both to reach the world and equip the church with teaching seminars where believers are practically taught to move in the gifts of the Spirit and believe God to heal people. GJMI works to see local churches moving in revival and the freedom of the Holy Spirit. Graham is married to L who is French and they have a baby daughter named Noa who is one year old. L also teaches and preaches. Graham & his wife L are currently planting a new church in St Etienne in the South of France. They have a vision to plant churches throughout France and to release other ministries into the fullness of God's calling for their lives.
